Dr. Casablanca completed her undergraduate at Duke University in Durham, NC, and her medical education at Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD a military medical school. She then went on to complete her Military Ob/gyn residency at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Consortium at Wilford Hall & Brooke Army Medical Centers. Her military gynecologic oncology fellowship was completed at National Capital Consortium at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center/ National Institutes of Health. Dr. Casablanca was the Director of the Department of Defense Gynecologic Cancer Center of Excellence and led the Division of Gyn Oncology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and was also the Program Director for the GYN ONC fellowship from 2018-2022. She has recently joined the LCI Gynecologic Oncology teams in Charlotte, NC and is the associate Program Director for the Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship there. She is passionate about surgical education and leads national courses focused on advanced cytoreductive techniques in gynecologic cancer.

Surgical film presentations on topics of advanced surgical maneuvers for successful ovarian cancer cytoreduction, fertility-sparing surgical challenge for a young patient with locally advanced cervical cancer, and sentinel LN mapping for endometrial cancer that were highly evaluated in the gynecologic oncology community.
