Professor of Medical Oncology and Clinical Director at UCL Cancer Institute and a Consultant Medical Oncologist at UCL Hospitals, London. He has led national and international trials in ovarian cancer and until recently was Director of the CRUK & UCL Cancer Trials Centre, which he led for two decades. He is a Senior Investigator for the NIHR, a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences and Editor for ESMO Gynaecological Cancer Guidelines. He is the past Vice-President of ESGO and has published widely in the areas of clinical trials in gynaecological cancers, experimental therapeutics, guidelines and education in gynaecological malignancies
