Ana Oaknin, MD PhD Head of Gynaecological Cancer Program Vall d´Hebron University Hospital Vall d´Hebron Institute of Oncology( VHIO) Licensed in Medicine and Surgery for the “Universidad Complutense de Madrid” in 1994. Speciality in Medical Oncology (“Hospital Universitario de la Princesa” April/1996‐ April/2000), and she obtens her Medical Degree – Doctor in Medicine ans Surgery, “Cum Laude” at the “Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona”. Barcelona, Spain. Prof. Oaknin is the Head of Gynecologic Cancer Program at Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO). Prof. Oaknin is an Executive Board Member of GEICO as Vice‐Chairman, Faculty member of Gynecologic Track in ESMO, GEICO representative for Phase 2 trial committee and Cervical cancer Committee in GCIG, GOG and NCI member. Her professional career is principally based on the clinical research and she is the principal investigator of many numbers of clinical studies of Phase I, II and III, both international and national. In addition, she is author of outstanding articles in high impact Journals.
