Isobel Macleod is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Paediatric Intensive Care. Since qualifying as a registered nurse in 2001 she initially worked in accident and emergency before undertaking further training to specialise in paediatrics and gain experience in a variety of posts within intensive care, nutrition, research, national audit and quality improvement. Committed to improving the quality of care, ensuring excellence and advancing nursing practice within paediatric critical care has resulted in a strong interest in research. Isobel completed an MSc in Advanced Paediatric Practice in 2017 and currently works in a busy PICU and national cardiac and ECLS centre.
