Trained as a pediatric infectious disease specialist in Lausanne and Geneva, Switzerland and in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, I have specialized in vaccine prevention. I have been working for the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health since almost 19 years. I am in charge of the implementation of the national strategy for immunization and the national strategy against healthcare associated infections. I am very much involved in the management of the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in the vaccination programme.
