Glenda Amenos Barraza, Medica (UBA), DTM&H (RCP), MRCPCH Glenda Amenos Barraza is an enthusiastic Italian-Argentine physician born and qualified in Buenos Aires (UBA, 2012) who currently works as HEE Yorkshire and the Humber specialty registrar in Paediatrics in South Yorkshire, England. Over the past 4 years, Glenda has developed an interest in Paediatric Infectious diseases, Immunology and Vaccinology. She has worked in various multidisciplinary QI projects related to the specialty and she is also developing a strong interest in clinical research. Glenda's upbringing in the southern multicultural suburbs of Buenos Aires, and her early exposure to consequences of social injustice and poverty in childhood has influenced her evolving interest in paediatric neglected diseases and advocacy.
