Prof. Rodrigo Vázquez-Frias is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Nutritionist at Department of Gastroenterology and Nutrition, Hospital Infantil de México Federico Gómez or Children´s Hospital of México “Federico Gómez”; HIMFG). He is Certified by the Mexican Board of Certification in Pediatrics and by the Mexican Board of Gastroenterology. He had a Masters and PhD degree in Research in Medical Sciences by Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Member of National Researchers System. He is also Professor of Pediatrics at UNAM, a Cochrane® collaboration member. Chief Editor of Latin-American Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (LAJPGHN). President elected of Latin American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (LASPGHAN). He has more than 50 Scientific publications in international journals. Tutor of more than 30 postgraduates and master. Special interest in nutrition, food allergy, inflammatory bowel disease, microbiota and pre, pro, syn and postbiotics.
