I am a paediatric rheumatologist and privat lecturer for paediatrics at the University hospital Graz, Austria. As a member of the Paediatric Rheumatology Society (PReS), the Society of Paediatric Rheumatology (GKJR) and the Paediatric Rheumatology International Trials Organsiation (PRINTO) I have participated in research and guidelines. The main fields of interest in my research are long-term efficacy and safety of medical treatment in chronic rheumatic diseases, including research on immunogenicity of biological treatment and the association of juvenile idiopathic arthritis with other immune mediated diseases. As the head of the Austrian working group for Pediatric Rheumatology, I organize scientific network-meetings with specialists across all paediatric subdisciplines, adult rheumatologists and young investigators as well.
