Dr. Rider is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) and a practicing clinical immunologist at Liberty Mountain Medical Group. He serves as Chair of the LUCOM Division of Clinical Informatics which engages in research, education and in the development of a learning health system along the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Dr. Rider’s overarching aspirations are to improve the health, well-being, and outcomes for patients with immunologic disorders via compassionate, patient-centric care and the exploitation of computational methods for driving insight about disease biology and the refinement of healthcare systems. Prior to joining LUCOM, Dr. Rider served as the Director of the Jeffrey Modell Foundation Center for Primary Immunodeficiency Research & Education at Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston TX.
