I am working as a Nurse Specialist in chronic pain since 2011 in the Radboud Expertise Centre for Pain and Palliative Medicine of the Radboud University, Nijmegen in the Netherlands. I work with patients with chronic severe pain with specific experience in pain education and care for the patients with spinal cord stimulation and motor cortex stimulation. I am involved in studies for spinal cord stimulation and motor cortex stimulation. In 2015 a reached my PhD degree doing research in managing the complications of intravenous devices in the neonatal intensive care unit where I worked for 17 years before my switch to the pain center. Develop or support in practical research which can be used directly in the care for the patient, especially with nurse experience and knowledge is one of my goals since this previous job.
