Session Description
Chaired by Professor Andreas Liebl, this ASCEND educational symposium provides an exclusive platform to exchange expertise on the management of cardiovascular risk in people with diabetes. Faculty will discuss the use of newer glucose-lowering agents with regards to their effects on glycaemic control, weight and cardiovascular outcomes. Practical guidance around selecting the most appropriate agent for different individuals will also be provided. Take this opportunity to share your experiences and have your questions answered by faculty.
The Managing cardiovascular risk in people with diabetes, Virtual Congress, 20/03/2021-20/03/2021 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 1 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
