Passionate scientist dedicated to the study of urban processes, Esteban Munoz develops urban models for the representation of urban dynamics mainly in python and R. Mr. Munoz studied architecture and urban planning from at the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe (HsKA). After his studies, he worked for a year at the European Institute for Energy Research (EIFER) in Karlsruhe. In 2009 Mr Munoz started his masters at the HafenCity University in Hamburg (HCU), the international program: Resource Efficiency in Architecture and Planing (REAP). It allowed him to jump into the topic of urban modeling. During his PhD thesis and working as a research fellow for the HafenCity University, he focuded on the development of spatial microsimulation models. Mr Munoz worked as a consultant for the International Financial Corporation (IFC) and he's currently working as a consultant for UN Environment.
