Magdalena Daccord is Chief Executive of FH Europe, the European network of patient organizations advocating for Familial Hypercholesterolemia and other inherited dyslipidemias. Since joining FH Europe, Magdalena led activities to strengthen the role of the Network on the international level, help build new Board of the Charity, create a Scientific and Public Health Advisory Committee with the leading European and international experts, accelerate collaboration with other leading patient organisations in Europe like the European Patients' Forum, EURORDIS for rare disease. At the same time, she established collaboration with global heart health stakeholders like World Heart Organization, joining the Global FH Advocacy Organization at WHF, and the EAS FHSC - the global FH registry. Before becoming CE of FH Europe, Magdalena led EMEA Operations at DIA Europe, a global non-profit organization, catalyzing knowledge creation and sharing to accelerate healthcare product development. Previously to that she spent over 7 years working in various marketing and commercial roles in a biotech and pharma industry, with a focus on rare diseases. That specific experience ignited Magdalena's passion for advocacy and health promotion and prevention.
