Dr David Nanchen, MD, MSc is co-head of the Department of Health promotion and prevention in the Center of Primary Care and Public Health (Unisanté), University of Lausanne. He has clinical expertise in lipidology and cardiovascular disease prevention, and he is a board member of the Swiss Atherosclerosis Association (AGLA, www.gsla.ch.) Dr David Nanchen is currently supported by the Swiss Heart Foundation to test the implementation of a genetic cascade screening program for familial hypercholesterolemia in Switzerland.
