Full Professor in Rheumatology, University of Milan Prof. Pier Carlo Sarzi Puttini graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Parma in 1981. He subsequently obtained three specializations: in 1985 he specialized in Rheumatology at the University of Milan, in 1989 in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at the University of Milan and in 1994 in Internal Medicine at the University of Pavia. Finally, in 2015, he obtained a II level Master's degree in Pain Therapy at the University of Parma. He currently holds the position of Director of the Rheumatology Complex Operative Unit IRCCS Galeazzi Sant'Ambrogio of Milan and previously he was Director of the Rheumatology Complex Operative Unit at the Fatebenefratelli Sacco Territorial Social Health Authority of Milan and Medical Director of 1st level of Rheumatology full time at the L. Sacco Hospital in Milan. He is President of the Italian Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association and since 2019 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Hospital Rheumatologists-CREI with the title of scientific director.
