Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology
György Nagy MD, PhD, DSc is full professor of medicine, rheumatology and immunology, currently serves as the head of the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at Semmelweis University, Budapest. He is also the head of the Department of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology, of Hospitaller Brothers of St. John of God, Budapest. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Rheumatology, State University of New York, Syracuse, USA from 2001 to 2003, and a resident & research fellow in the 3rd Department of Internal Medicine, Semmelweis University, Budapest from 1999 to 2001. His research interests focus on the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases, with a special interest in the role of nitric oxide and reactive oxygen intermediates. He also studies the role of microparticles in the pathogenesis of various autoimmune diseases. He has more than 100 scientific publications, his works were cited 8000< times. He was the principal investigator or co-investigator of a number of Hungarian and international research grants. He is a member of the EULAR Quality of Care Committee and EULAR School of Rheumatology. He served as abstract reviewer of numerous international meetings including ACR and EULAR, he is editorial board member of several national and international scientific journals. He was the convenor of the EULAR Task Force aiming to create EULAR recommendations for the comprehensive management of difficult-to treat rheumatoid arthritis. He was the organizer or co-organizer of numerous national and international meetings, including CORA, ESCI, EWRR or Semmelweis Symposium.

The E-Poster Discussions 05 & 06 on CTDs and Inflammatory Arthritis will take place at the two designated E-Poster Stations (screens) in the Poster Area located near the Exhibition Area. Session Description
Each Free Communication session consists of 6 abstract presentations of the highest-graded abstracts submitted to the CORA 2023 Congress. Each presenter has about 8 minutes to present their data followed by 2 minutes for Q&A and discussion with the session chairs and audience. The Free Communication sessions present a valuable opportunity for researchers to showcase their work and receive feedback from the international scientific community. The variety of topics and presenters’ backgrounds – from young investigators to renowned researchers in their fields, turn these sessions into great educational and networking opportunities.
