Dr. Joseph Harper received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. After working as a practicing pharmacist in both inpatient and outpatient settings, he transitioned his career to the pharmaceutical industry. He has worked in medical affairs for the last 20 years in multiple therapeutic areas, with a focus in allergy and immunology, and rare diseases. Working closely with those conducting research, he has coordinated the development of 15 manuscripts in peer-reviewed scientific journals, in several cases serving as a co-author, and coordinated over 40 abstracts and posters that have been presented at regional, national, and international scientific conferences. Dr. Harper is currently Executive Director of Medical Affairs at Pharming Healthcare, Inc.
