Amin Zayani (35) lives with T1D and works on empowering fellow PwD with tools to properly store and transport their insulin and GLP-1 injections. After his insulin accidentally froze in his refrigerator in 2013 Amin cofounded MedAngel, the first smart temperature sensor for medications specifically tailored for PwD use. He successfully led the company to an exit in 2020 and then cofounded dot.COOL. With the current venture dot.COOL empowers PwD with connected companions to properly store, transport their insulin and other injections, and to help achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes
