Madison Smith, Sr. R&D Clinical Product Manager for Medtronic. In her role as an R&D Product Manager she brings her first hand clinical experience from the field in order to lead user-centered product development and design of the InPen’s medical device portfolio and the Insights by InPen reports. She is responsible for coordinating efforts between user needs, technology and business to drive innovation throughout the product lifecycle and actualization of real-world clinical outcomes. Prior to joining Medtronic, she worked at the University of Florida where she spent time as a both a CDCES within their pediatric endocrinology clinic and as a clinical and translational research investigator studying pathway to disease progression, novel drug therapies to preserve beta cell function, and testing pre-market diabetes technologies prior to regulatory approval.
