Mr. Hundessa Daba Nemomssa is assistant professor of Biomedical Engineering working as an innovator, researcher, and academician at Jimma University, Ethiopia since August 2014. He has been involved in various innovation and research activities with more than 10 research publications. Recently, he has received three national research grants from Armour Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) for three major innovation works on medical devices. He has received the Best Innovation Award from Jimma University and the Ministry of Education and the 20th Tore Godal Prize Award from AHRI for his recent work on device for diagnosis and treatment of diabetic foot neuropathy. Mr. Hundessa has got his BSc in Biomedical Engineering and MSc in Bioinstrumentation Engineering, all from Jimma University and recently promoted to the rank of assistant professor after outstanding performance on research, community service and academics.
