Erik Huneker is the co-founder and CEO of Diabeloop, a company developing interoperable self-learning algorithm solutions for diabetes management. Diabeloop solutions use artificial intelligence to automate and personalize insulin delivery, according to people physiology and customized parameters for a radically improved treatment and quality of life. Erik previously spent 7 years in the medical devices field at GE Healthcare, where he managed the international localization business to a ten-fold growth in sales. He started his professional career at Pechiney and Alcan, with 7 years of management positions in manufacturing, marketing and lean in the US and in France. He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris. He gets energized by listening to the feedback of patients and Diabeloop devices potential to improve their lives.
