David Dunleavy,

I am a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer originally from Galway, Ireland. After many years of working in Mechanical Engineering R&D, Aerospace Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering I moved to the US to pursue an MBA at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. I joined Medtronic CVG in Santa Rosa, CA as a supply chain intern in the summer of 2004 and rejoined in 2005 full-time. In supply-chain and operations I supported peripheral and coronary stents/balloons and endovascular stent grafts. I spent my last 2 years at CVG in stent marketing before joining Diabetes in 2009. At Medtronic Diabetes I am responsible for the development of our portfolios, including pump systems, sensors, pens, algorithms, consumables, digital assets, sustaining activities and research. Prior to my current role I was the General Manager of the AID group
