Robert Dowd is a Senior Data Scientist with Dexcom, and joined the company in June of 2019. Robert graduated from the University of Rochester in 2015, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Neurobiology with honors in research for developing a computational model of the mammalian midbrain auditory system. To further pursue a career of scientific discovery, statistics and data, he obtained a post- undergraduate certificate in Data Science from Galvanize. At Dexcom, Robert applies his expertise in data science & biological research to harness the power of big data and innovate new ways of enhancing patient experiences with emerging technology. Additionally, Robert is pursuing real- world-evidence driven initiatives to continue uncovering clinical insight in Diabetes care.
