Dr. Yamamoto is an endocrinologist and clinician researcher at the University of Manitoba and an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Calgary. She completed her Endocrinology training and MSc in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Calgary and furthered a one-year research fellowship in diabetes in pregnancy at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom. She holds the Henry G. Friesen Professorship in Endocrinology at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Yamamoto’s clinical work and research focus on improving outcomes in high-risk women with diabetes in pregnancy.
