Maya Laron- Hirsh B.Sc, is a registered dietitian and a certified diabetes educator. Maya is serving as a clinical dietitian, Team leader of Diabetes Nutrition and the head of AUE diabetes service at Sheba Medical Center in Israel with over 5 years of experience. Maya leads the Diabetes forum at the Israeli Dietitian's Association. She was among the team establishing the first virtual diabetes clinic treating patients with T1D in Israel 3 years ago. Recently Maya's work has focused on the combination of nutrition and technology in achieving diabetes control among type 1 patients with special interest and experience with Advanced Hybrid Closed Loop systems.
