Enise is an Early Childhood educator and HIV/AIDS advocate based in Hollywood, Florida, USA. For six years, she has been an active member of the Peers United Group (PUG) for the U.S.-based Pediatric HIV/AIDS Cohort Study, and currently serves as the Vice Chair of this group. She has provided invaluable input into numerous research projects involving women's health, health disparities, and transition to adult health care, and she has appeared on numerous panels to share her guidance and wisdom about various aspects of living with perinatal HIV and critical research priorities. She is also the leader of an innovative creative film project portraying the choices that young adults living with HIV face in their lives as they age into adulthood. Enise is also a writer. She enjoys writing poetry and screenplays that depict the experiences and challenges that individuals affected by HIV/AIDS face.
