Tanaka Chirombo is an HIV/AIDS Facilitator and Health Rights Advocate currently working with Youth and Society (YAS) - human rights and governance watchdog with focus on youth and marginalized groups. His core work is to champion rights and freedoms of young people living with HIV (YPLHIV) and promote positive living. I am also a co-founder of the National Association of Young People Living with HIV (Mzuzu Chapter). In addition, He is a ‘Team Leader' of the Mzuzu central Hospital teen club, and association. In all this, his work involves advocating for quality health services for YPLHIV and mobilizing YPLHIV for HIV services including treatment. He is currently championing a project titled improving ART delivery for Adolescents and YPLHIV in Mzuzu city under the under the IAS youth champions to strengthen youth friendly HIV service delivery initiative and an SRHR youth champion under HP+ and ministry of health and population.
