Session Description
Bridging a gap: How several key efforts are making their data and samples accessible to the broader research community – Supported by Alzheimer’s Disease Data Initiative.

Session Description:

This moderated panel of speakers, whose activities include the collection or generation of data and / or samples of key importance to the Alzheimer’s and dementias community, will highlight the need to make these outputs requestable and available to the larger community. The discussion will engage panelists on their joint message of collaborative data and sample sharing being furthered by newly generated data and different types of data (proteomics, digital, lifestyle) that are more representative of a global population. Additionally, it will highlight why it is so important for these efforts to support making these data more usable, combinable – with existing available data, to propel the community to discovery new insights which can put an end to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
