Session Description
Alzheimer's disease - Let's ADdress it together - Supported by Roche.

Session Description:

As the global burden of Alzheimer’s disease continues to increase, and as more treatments become available, management of Alzheimer’s will become increasingly complicated. As a result, there is an opportunity to bring clinicians together, to share experiences, learn, and challenge one another to expand the reach of AD care and improve patients’ lives. In this interactive symposium, moderated by Jean Georges of Alzheimer Europe and Stephanie Monroe of UsAgainstAlzheimer’s, delegates will be able to decide what they would like the learn about and discuss. Following an introduction by the moderators, delegates will choose between two workshops: an overview of the less-discussed topics in Alzheimer’s, such as impact of Alzheimer’s on sexual health, healthcare disparities in high and low-income countries, and health literacy, or take a deep dive into the Alzheimer’s disease standard of care, specifically as it relates to ARIA management and biomarkers. In these interactive workshops, attendees will be able to contribute to what they consider to be most important, while learning from other caregivers around the world, so that together we can transform Alzheimer’s.
