Rehabilitation and Geriatrics
Professor Gabriel Gold has trained in France and in the United States where he received his board certifications in Internal Medicine and in Geriatrics. He moved to Switzerland in 1995 where he became head of the Division of Geriatrics of the University Hospitals of Geneva and Director of the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He has extensive clinical experience in the care of older people with cognitive disorders. His main research interests include brain aging and cognitive impairment focusing more specifically on diagnostic criteria, clinicopathologic correlations and vascular lesions. He has authored over 150 original articles and reviews on the subject. He was co-president of the International Springfield Symposium on Alzheimer Therapy from 2010 to 2016 and is an executive organizer of the AD/PD meetings
