Michel Goedert is a Programme Leader at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK. He works on the mechanisms that cause neurodegeneration in tau and synuclein proteinopathies. In collaboration with Sjors Scheres, he is currently using electron cryo-microscopy to determine the structures of amyloid filaments from human brain.
