Carlo Sala Frigerio is a Programme Leader at the UK Dementia Research Institute and University College London. He has a degree in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Milan, Italy, and a PhD in Biochemistry from University College Dublin, Ireland. Carlo uses single cell genomics and spatial-resolved transcriptomics approaches to characterise the cell-type-specific molecular mechanisms underlying dementia and healthy brain ageing.
