This lecture will focus on the newest initiatives in drug development in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis including but not limited to understanding the pathological processes that are targetable, biomarker developments to assist in improving designs, most innovative trial designs and recent successes. Emphasis will be placed on innovations that are allowing smaller more directed trial designs from phase 1-3 and recent regulatory developments
