Session Description
The objective of this symposium is to address the complexities around diagnoses and management of Alzheimer’s disease, including the impact co-pathologies could have on the patient journey. With the help of a case study, we will explore ways in which cognitive and functional assessments, in addition to pathophysiological biomarkers of AD, may support earlier detection, referral, and diagnosis of AD. We will also discuss current and prospective measures that could be undertaken to allow a timely diagnosis and management of a patient with Alzheimer’s disease, in the context of current healthcare infrastructures.
