Graduated in Medicine Master in Pediatrics and Science In the Federal University of São Paulo (1988), and Ph.D. in Pediatrics and Science Applied to Pediatrics by the Federal University of São Paulo (1994). Currently full professor of pediatrics at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo, and head of the Pediatric Infectology sector of the -Santa Casa de Misericórdia of São Paulo and Hospital Emilio Ribas. Main Interest on the following topics: bacterial resistance, respiratory infection, vaccines, Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus pneumonia infections Researcher of the CNPQ level 2 since 2014.
