The role of antiplatelet therapy in mitigating the risk of recurrent ischemic attacks has evolved over the years. with individualization being a key strategy in optimizing patient outcomes. Antithrombotic therapy, including antiplatelet, is recommended for nearly all patients without contraindications, however the duration of therapy and intensity of dual antiplatelet therapy needs to be specific according to patient groups.
