D. Bowman

Cornell University Microbiology and Immunology
Dr. Bowman became interested in parasitology as an undergraduate at Hiram College. He attended graduate school in the Department of Parasitology and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. He then went the new veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin as a post-doc in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Grieve. He first joined the faculty of the CVM at Cornell University in 1987. He has worked on products funded by the EPA, USDA, and from veterinary industrial partners. Besides publications, he has produced the 6th through 11th editions of Georgis' Parasitology for Veterinarians.
