Dr Serafeim A. Papadimitriou graduated from School of Veterinary Medicine, then from School of Dentistry of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and finnaly his PhD thesis on dog periodontitis. He is now a professor of Veterinary Surgery and Dentistry in Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the same University. In the University Clinic he deals everyday with dental and oromaxillofacial surgery cases in companion animals. He has more than 50 publications in veterinary and human dentistry international and national journals. His main research interests are: periodontal disease, inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity in cats, endodontics, implant dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, bone defects, etc.
