Session Description:
Globally there are urgent environmental and social issues, from climate change to mental health to antimicrobial resistance, that require collaborative solutions. The veterinary industry impacts the environment, society, and pets, and we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to help make those impacts positive. In this session we will discuss the current state of sustainability, the role the veterinary industry plays, and spotlight examples of our efforts from our Linnaeus business based in the U.K. Participants will learn about examples of initiatives Linnaeus has undertaken to reduce their climate change impacts and improve the overall environmental sustainability of their sites. A Q&A at the end of the session will provide an opportunity to ask questions.
