New approaches to managing diabetes in clinical practice post-COVID - Supported by International Medical Press

Session Description:

During this symposium, expert faculty will discuss the relationship between diabetes and the development of associated complications such as cardiovascular (CV) diseases, and provide advice for managing CV risk factors. Common drivers of therapeutic inertia will also be discussed, along with practical tips on how to overcome these in the clinic. Faculty will overview the newer glucose-lowering medications before providing guidance on selecting the most appropriate agent for different individuals. All attendees will get a free handout resource summarizing key learnings from the symposium and top tips for managing people with T2D in the clinic on completion of the evaluation form.
