Targeting early phase of Alzheimer's Disease: from basic knowledge to drug discovery
In recent years, many advances have been made in understanding the mechanisms underlying the clinical onset of Alzheimer's disease. There is growing evidence that numerous factors can impact the disease and determine the path. During this symposium we will try to investigate two of the main factors currently under study: synapse dysfunction and neuroinflammation and how these can be targets for the development of new treatments or therapeutic approaches. Starting from what are the basic research data, we will go through the process of knowledge and experimentation for the identification of these new targets.
