Dr. Alejandro A. Rabinstein received his medical diploma from the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba in Argentina. He is Professor of Neurology at Mayo Clinic and a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Hs is also boarded in Vascular Neurology and certified in Neurocritical Care. Dr. Rabinstein serves as Medical Director of the Neuroscience ICU at Saint Marys Hospital (Mayo Clinic). He is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN), the American Neurological Association (FANA), the American Heart Association (FAHA) and the Neurocritical Care Society (FNCS). He is currently Associate Editor of the journal Neurocritical Care, Associate Editor of Stroke, member of the editorial boards of CONTIUUM and JSCVD, and Neurocritical Care section editor for UpToDate. Dr. Rabinstein is also Co-Chair of the Guidelines Committee of the World Stroke Organization.
