Session Description
Fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) is the only currently available point-of-care test of type 2 airway inflammation. FeNO is used as a predictor of response to inhaled corticosteroids, to monitor adherence, and as a diagnostic tool in ICS-naïve patients. FeNO may also predict asthma exacerbations and responsiveness to some biological therapies. This session will review current evidence and guidance on clinical utility of measuring FeNO in asthma evaluation and management.
