Associate Professor, University of Padova. Main areas of expertise on respiratory research are immunology and cell biology of asthma and COPD, with particular interest on evaluating the pathogenetic mechanisms of different endotypes. My most recent interest is on the field of lung immunologic response to air pollution. I’ve been involved from long time in evaluation committees either at my university (University of Padova), the Italian Ministry of University and Research, or the European Respiratory Society (College of Experts).
