Dr. Boriani is a Full Professor of Cardiology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and Director of the Postgraduate School of Cardiovascular Diseases at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He serves on the editorial boards of the European Heart Journal, European Journal of Heart Failure, Heart, and European Journal of Internal Medicine. His scientific activity is focused on clinical electrophysiology, pace-makers, implantable defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy, atrial fibrillation, antiarrhythmic drugs, heart failure, health economics, and clinical cardiology.
