Dr Ashrafunnessa, Phd(DU), FRCOG; is the focal point of “Cervical& Breast Cancer Screening program” in Bangladesh. She joined Bangabandhu Seikh Mujib Meidcal University in 2006 and currently working as a Professor of Gynecological Oncology Department. In her journey of minimizing the mortality rate of women due to cervical and breastcancer in Bangladesh, she achieved FIGO Award (2009), Dr. S. Aptekar Visiting Professor Award (2014) and more.
