Session Description
Regional society session in partnership with the Colombian Association of Gynecologic Oncologists (ACGO). The session will include lectures on interesting topics about the work that is done in prevention in the region, what are the challenges facing systemic treatment in locally advanced stages, and some suggestions on how to overcome those challenges. We will speak about an interesting topic regarding the role of brachytherapy before surgery, and how to deal with non-adverted cervical cancer, which is, unfortunately, a very common condition in the region.
