Dr. Ilan Goldenberg is a Professor Cardiology and serves as the Director of the Clinical Cardiovascular Research Center at the University of Rochester. Dr. Goldenberg has been involved in clinical research with cardiac arrhythmias for over 15 years with over 500 published papers. He has a substantial record of being the Principal Investigator of large clinical studies and multicenter trials. The Clinical Cardiovascular Research Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center is an internationally recognized research enterprise known for its many years of successfully conducting high impact cardiovascular research that has changed the practice of medicine. Its innovative, dynamic and cross-functional collaboration with many leading medical centers and research departments throughout the world continues to foster pioneering research that brings forth new treatment paradigms aimed at improving the lives of our patients. Dr. Goldenberg and his team at the Rochester Clinical Cardiovascular Research Center are currently leading multiple NIH and industry sponsored trials, including the North American ARVC Registry, the Long QT Syndrome Registry, the Wearable Defibrillator Registry, the MADIT Trials, RAID Trial, and the Marven Study.
