Graduated in Veterinary Medicine with the University of Parma; spent one year working as intern in a referral animal hospital in United Kingdom; under supervision of professors from the University of Nottingham. Currently working at the University of Utrecht towards a PhD; main area of research being regenerative medicine; in particular cartilage repair and the horse animal model.
