Richard Gray

Richard Gray is a Professor and the Canadian Grain Policy Chair at University of Saskatchewan. His research has examined many aspects of agricultural policy including grain transportation, agricultural marketing and agricultural innovation. From 2003 - 2013 he led the Canadian Agricultural Innovation Research Network. Richard has regularly worked with producer organisations and government regarding research funding and innovation policy. Richard has Bachelors and Masters degrees in agricultural economics from the University of Saskatchewan and PhD from UC Berkeley. In 2010 he was recognized as Fellow of the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society. He remains actively engaged in the family farm at Indian Head, Saskatchewan, Canada.
